It’s been a heck of a summer with all of the heat we’ve experienced. I don’t think I have ever worked so hard in my yard trying to make it look nice. I have never been one to work in my yard a lot but since I recently took early retirement, I have a lot of time on my hands. My wife tells me that I need to get out of the house and start a hobby. I started thinking, that I maybe can kill 2 birds with one stone. Since my lawn needs fall lawn care and I need to get out of the house, maybe lawn care will be my new hobby. I have found that I actually enjoy it very much. Getting my hands dirty and using tools like a real man. I’ve already noticed that my lawn is starting to look better than my neighbors lawn.

First things first since I’m a novice landscaper. I did my research on the internet to learn about lawn care tips. No need to jump into this project without getting some tips about lawncare from the pros’s. Actually, you don’t really have to get tips from the pro’s. There are a lot of people who have lawn care blogs and they freely share their knowledge and lawn care tips. I especially enjoy the sites where bloggers do lawn care videos about the products they use. it really helps me to watch these demonstrations before I make a decision to purchase any yard tools.

I’m really enjoying my new retired life. I work on my lawn, drink beer and listen to music all day long. I’m not much of a computer guy like my wife. She has one of these Apple computers called a Mac and she really loves it. She will hardly let me touch it. I told her I need something to listen to music on while I’m working in the yard. She did some research and found what she said I needed in an article about the iPod Nano. You can check out a review at iPod Nano 5th Generation Review. She ordered me one and I really love the iPod Nano. I subscribed to some really cool podcasts and now you will never see me working in my yard without my headphones on.

Lawn aeration process is must to avoid the problem drainage, which makes the ground of the lawn compact and hard. Lawn aeration removes all the patches bare in the lawn and improves the over all look of the lawn. Usually the foot traffic compact the soil of the lawn, at that time the lawn aeration process proves beneficial for the lawn. The main benefits offered by the lawn aeration allow proper flow of the air, soil and water in the garden. Get some natural lawn care tips to really learn about the benefits.

Lawn aeration helps in the penetration of the lawn. It is the process of punching holes in the lawn process. The aeration process also helps in serving the roots of the plant, encourages the new growth of the roots of plant and breaking apart of the tangle. It loosens up the soil and removes all the foot traffic from the lawn to make it look good and refreshing.

Spring season is the must for making the lawn aeration as it leaves more impact rather making lawn aeration in some other seasons. The aeration process usually carried to let the water and air of the soil relieved from the problem of compaction. The main tools used to aerate the lawn are of different degrees and effectiveness. If the soil is compact and dense nature then at the time of the lawn aeration is core aerator.
The problem of compaction occurs usually when air displaces from the soil by the compression of the surface. It breaks all the soil structure, which results into poor growing conditions and affect the durability and longevity of the lawn. The problem of compaction occurs and inhibits the problem of drainage and shallowing of the root grasses.

The lawn aeration proves beneficial for finer grasses like fescues and bents. It requires. These types of grasses usually require less fertilizer and are both disease and draught resistant. It helps in increasing the micro –organisms of the soil. It also prevents the lawn to face the lawn diseases and make the lawn fit and fine. The main forms of the lawn aeration process are hollow tinning, slitting and solid tinning widely used by the people.
